Galapinhos Beach is at the seaside of Arrábida. It was considered the “Best Beach of Europe” in 2017, in accordance with the votes received in the European Best Destinations portal. It is a calm beach with a tranquil sea, where it is possible to observe marine species, snorkel and scuba dive.

Contrary to what happens in Albarquel or even Figueirinha, it is a zone with bad accesses and not much parking space. The access is usually done by walking, through considerably inclined trails which are not advisable for reduced mobility people.

During the bathing season, parking is paid and there are restrictions on car circulation, within the scope of the municipal program Arrábida sem Carros.
