Figueirinha is one of the most famous beaches of Arrábida during Summer. It has an extensive sandy beach, clean and calm water. The frequent periods of low tide allow the formation of a stretch of sand which is good for the windsurf practice. The calm sea makes it appropriate for families with children. The contracted and accessible beach has a parking lot, a bus stop, sanitary installations and a restaurant/bar. There is also a wooded area in the margins of the brook, where many families make good use of it by having picnics at the end of the afternoon.

During the bathing season, parking is paid and there are restrictions on car circulation, within the scope of the municipal program Arrábida sem Carros.
